With the flag leaf now out on the majority of our region’s wheat, it is time for producers to review their fungicide application strategy.  Don’t let current low disease pressure, lull you into a state of non-concern.  Head exertion will soon follow and then flowering.  It is the flowering stage where srw is susceptible to DON.  Consult with your scout, or, intensify your own wheat scouting efforts.
